More Brownie Love

PMS Brownies

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter melted
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Optional
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts

Frosting
1 Tbs butter melted
3 Tbs baking cocoa
2 Tbs warm water
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar

In a mixing bowl, beat sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add butter slowly and mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to batter. Mix well and add optional ingredients at this time if you so desire. Pour into a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 350ยบ for 25-30 minutes or until tested with a toothpick. Let cool. For the frosting, combine butter, cocoa, and water, mix well. Gradually stir in sugar until smooth, adding additional warm water if necessary to get spreading consistency. Frost those brownies and relieve that PMS!
